CBC, carbon-based coating

Often, the conditions of an application dictate the required properties of the materials to be used. For this reason, RWG has been able to accumulate decades of experience in processing and using a wide variety of materials. Among others, materials used include bearing steel 100Cr6, CRES 17-4PH, 13-8Mo, S80, 440C, Cronidur, Inconel, titanium, aluminum, various bronzes and ceramics. To achieve a desired property, these materials are further processed during the manufacturing process. Additional processes include hard chrome plating, hard anodizing, dry lubricant film coating, passivation and zinc-nickel coating.

Bearings

Rolling bearings include an outer ring, rolling elements, and an inner ring. These components are mostly made of bearing steel or a corrosion-resistant steel grade. As rolling elements, balls, needles, cylindrical rollers or spherical rollers can be used. The contact surfaces should have a low roughness to minimize friction and heating. In addition, the bearings are greased to prevent metallic contact and sealed to protect against contamination. Application areas are usually applications with fast rotational movements and that require a low starting friction torque. Known specifications include, for example, EN 3284 or AS 27645.

Spherical Plain Bearings

Spherical plain bearings consist of an inner ring (spherical) and a surrounding outer ring, with the inner ring usually being harder than the outer ring. Inner and outer rings can be made of steel, aluminum or copper alloys for example. Usually, the outer rings are pressed around the inner ring, thus enveloping it spherically. This plastic deformation process of the outer ring is eliminated if the inner rings are split (split ball) and can therefore be placed in the outer ring one after the other or if the outer ring has a loading slot (loader slot) into which the inner ring can be inserted. To achieve desired sliding properties and to minimize friction, the contact surfaces between the rings are optionally coated with a liner (PTFE) or covered with a dry lubricant film and greased. Application areas are usually applications that require slow rotational and swiveling movements. Known specifications include, for example, EN 2335 or AS 21154.

Special solutions

Each application and every customer of RWG is unique and therefore our standard catalog bearings cannot cover all needs. For this reason, we develop special solutions for every application in close collaboration with the customer, also gladly on-site. From modified rolling elements to threaded bolts or a special nut. We find the right solution with and for you.

Rod Ends

Rod Ends Rod ends have a lollipop-like geometry. The shaft typically has an external or internal thread and the head contains an integrated spherical or rolling bearing. Materials often used are corrosion-resistant steel grades, titanium, nickel alloys or more rarely, aluminum. The bearings to be used can either be pressed into the rod end with a mounting groove (bearing), or the rod ends already include an integrated spherical or rolling bearing (integrated bearing). Application areas are usually applications where it is difficult to provide a housing for certain bearings. Known specifications include, for example, EN 4036 or AS 81935/1.

Bushes with or without flange

Cylindrical bushes can be made of steel, flange, or copper alloys. Optionally, the bushes can be coated with a self-lubricating coating (PTFE liner). For axial loads, the bushes can be manufactured with an additional flange (flanged bushing). Application areas are usually applications that require slow rotational and linear movements. Known specifications include, for example, EN 2287 or AS 81934/2.

CBC, Kohlenstoff basierende Beschichtung

Oft geben die Rahmenbedingungen einer Applikation die geforderten Eigenschaften der einzusetzenden Materialien vor. Aus diesem Grund hat RWG jahrzehnte-lang Erfahrung mit der Bearbeitung und Verwendung verschiedenster Materialien sammeln können. Verwendet werden unter anderen Kugellagerstahl 100Cr6, CRES 17-4PH, 13-8Mo, S80, 440C, Cronidur, Inconel, Titan, Aluminium, verschiedene Bronzen und Keramiken. Um eine gewünsche Eigenschaft zu erreichen werden diese Materialien im Laufe des Fertigungsverfahrens weiter bearbeitet. Weitere Prozesse sind z.B. Hartverchromen, Hartanodisieren, Trockenschmierfilmbeschichtung, Passivieren und Zink-Nickel-Beschichtung.

Speziallösungen

Jede Applikation und jeder Kunde von RWG ist individuell und deswegen können allein unsere Standard-Katalog-Lager nicht alle Bedürfnisse decken. Aus diesem Grund entwickeln wir für jeden Anwendungsfall Speziallösungen mit enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kunden, auch gerne vor Ort. Vom veränderten Wälzkörper bis hin zum Gewindebolzen oder einer speziellen Mutter. Wir finden mit Ihnen und für Sie die passende Lösung.

Wälzlager

Wälzlager beinhalten einen Außenring, Wälzkörper und einen Innenring. Diese Komponenten bestehen meistens aus einem Wälzlagerstahl oder einer korrosionsbeständigen Stahlsorte. Als Wälzkörper können Kugeln, Nadeln, Zylinderrollen oder Tonnenrollen eingesetzt werden. Die Kontaktflächen sollten eine niedrige Rauheit vorweisen um Reibung und Erwärmung zu minimieren. Zusätzlich werden die Lager gefettet um den metalischen Kontakt zu vermeiden und abgedichtet um es vor Kontaminierung zu schützen. Einsatzgebiete sind meistens Applikationen mit schnellen Drehbewegungen und die ein geringes Anfangsreibmoment benötigen. Bekannte Spezifikationen sind z.B. EN 3284 oder AS 27645.

Stangenköpfe

Stangenköpfe haben eine Lollipop-ähnliche Geometrie. Der Schaft besitzt meistens ein Außen- oder ein Innengewinde und der Kopf beinhaltet ein eingebautes Gelenk- oder Wälzlager. Als Materialien kommen oft korrosionsbeständige Stahlsorten, Titan, Nickellegierungen oder auch eher seltener Aluminium zum Einsatz. Die einzusetzenden Lager können entweder mit einer Montagenut in den Stangenkopf verpreßt werden (inserted bearing) oder die Stangenköpfe beinhalten schon ein eingebautes Gelenk- oder Wälzlager (integrated bearing). Einsatzgebiete sind meistens Applikationen bei denen es schwerfällt ein Gehäuse für bestimmte Lager zur Verfügung zu stellen. Bekannte Spezifikationen sind z.B. EN 4036 oder AS 81935/1.

Gelenklager

Gelenklager bestehen aus einem Innenring (kugelig) und einem umhüllenden Außenring, wobei der Innenring meistens härter ist als der Außenring. Innenringe und Außenringe können z.B. aus Stahl, Aluminium oder Kupferlegierungen bestehen. Meistens werden die Außenringe um den Innenring gepreßt und umhüllen diesen somit spherisch. Dieser plastische Verformvorgang des Außenrings entällt wenn die Innenringe halbiert sind (split ball) und somit nacheinander in den Außenring platziert werden können oder wenn der Außenring eine Einführnut (loader slot) besitzt in welche der Innenring eingelegt werden kann. Um gewünschte Gleiteigenschaften zu erreichen und um Reibung zu minimieren werden die Kontaktflächen zwischen den Ringen optional mit einem Liner (PTFE) beklebt oder z.B. mit einem Trockenschmierfilm bedeckt und gefettet. Einsatzgebiete sind meistens Applikationen die langsame Dreh- und Schwenkbewegungen benötigen. Bekannte Spezifikationen sind z.B. EN 2335 oder AS 21154.

Zylindrische Buchsen mit oder ohne Flansch

Zylindrische Buchsen können entweder aus Stahl, Aluminium oder Kupferlegierungen bestehen. Optional können die Buchsen mit einer selbstschmierende Beschichtungen(Liner aus PTFE) beklebt werden. Für axiale Belastungen können die Buchsen mit einem zusätzlichen Flansch gefertigt werden (Bundbuchse). Einsatzgebiete sind meistens Applikationen, die langsame Dreh- und Linearbewegungen benötigen. Bekannte Spezifikationen sind z.B. EN 2287 oder AS 81934/2.
